Position:  Student x 3 positions

Department: Redevelopment

Status: Unpaid Co-op placement - Summer 2018

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hour days preferred; flexible times

Site:  Oakville (travel to all sites as required)


This Student position will provide administrative support to the Redevelopment team as a whole.


Two students to work on:

  • Working with Halton Healthcare and Public Health Ontario on a post occupancy study
  • Administering surveys/questionnaires, observation (time and motion) studies, data analysis. 

Third student to work on:

  • General duties associated with the standardization of equipment management processes. 
  • Web (Connections/Sharepoint) page design, Survey Monkey design, database design/input, assisting with focus groups, process redesign etc. 

Student Qualifiers:

  • Enrolled in a Undergraduate degree/diploma in a hospital operations related discipline and requires a Co Op placement
  • Demonstrated ability to build, foster and maintain positive and beneficial relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task with proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent administrative skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Advanced social media and ability to use search engines.

If successful, Students will be required to obtain a criminal record check and demonstrate that their immunization status is in compliance with legislative requirements.
