Position:  Student x 2 positions

Department:  Human Resources – Recruitment

Status: Unpaid Co-op placement - Fall 2018

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hour days preferred; flexible shift times

Site:  Oakville

Students will be assigned to provide administrative support to the Recruitment Team as a whole.

Duties may include:

  • Resume screening, candidate telephone screens, coordination of reference checks and other duties as assigned to assist Recruitment Specialists is the full cycle recruitment process.
  • Assist in Interviews and preparation
  • Assist with job fairs and recruitment presentations to external partners.
  • Data entry into Applicant Tracking System
  • Filing of interview notes & candidate profiles
  • HR specific projects as assigned.

Student Qualifiers:

  • Enrolled in a Human Resources program in University or College where a Co Op placement is required
  • Demonstrated ability to build, foster and maintain positive and beneficial relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task with proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent administrative skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Advanced social media and ability to use search engines.

If successful, Students will be required to obtain a criminal record check and demonstrate that their immunization status is in compliance with legislative requirements.
